¿Quién dice que las chicas no pueden bailar break?¡Las chicas de Black Blanc Beur si que pueden! Vi por primera vez el grupo francés hará unos cinco o seis años. Bailaban tres chicos, y salí diciendo que era el mejor espectáculo de break-hiphop que había visto jamás. No he dejado de hablar de ellos desde entonces. Pues por fin han vuelto: esta vez cuatro chicas y cuatro chicos.Y yo he salido diciendo que es el mejor espectáculo de break-hiphop que he visto jamás.
Durante casi hora y media, con sentido del humor y un generoso surtido de músicas y sonidos, bailaron con inocencia y alegría. Y las chicas coqueteaban con los chicos, y los chicos fardaban para las chicas, y hacían "piececitos¨entre ellos mientras ejecutaban imposibles pinos y "puntales". Bailaron hiphop con la música de la¨Danza del Hada de Pan de Azúcar ¨del Cascanueces e hicieron break-vals con el ¨Vals de las Flores¨. Con una música muy sugerente de Kronos Quartet, bailaron una pieza muy "ligona" mientras ellas meneaban sus caderas y ellos mostraban sus mejores ¨moves¨. Se enrollaban con Saint-Saens y enternecieron con Chopin.
Me encantó la coreografía de los "arpegios"-- en 8 tiempos, uno tras otro, entran los chicos, y se quedan quietos ...FREEZE... otro "arpegio" en otra clave... entran las chicas..y..todas quietas...FREEZE... ejecutado el número justo de veces para disfrutarlo sin que llegara a aburrir.
La atmósfera que crearon con las luces ya me impresionó la primera vez, y me ha vuelto a impresionar ahora.
Lástima que estos chicos sean de sesión única...
Post Data: black para negro, blanc para blanco y beur para hijo nacido en Francia de inmigrante mágrebi. Beur es arabe al réves en el lenguaje de la calle usado en los barrios de Páris.
Who says girls can´t dance /do break ? The girls from Black Blanc Beur sure can. I first saw the French group B3, with three male dancers, about five or six years ago, and thought it was the best hiphop-break I had ever seen. I´ve been talking about them ever since.They finally came back to Madrid,this time four girls and four boys,and it was the best hiphop-break I´ve ever seen.
For almost an hour and a half, with sense of humour and playfulness ,the girls flirted with the boys and the boys were bowled over by the girls.They all showed off doing their best break moves.They played ¨footsie-footsie¨,upside down most of the time,while doing impossible out-of-joint hand-and headstands.With tongue-in-cheek they hiphopped to the music of The Sugar Plum Fairy and they did break and waltzed to The Waltz of the Flowers .They danced to Saint-Saens and there were tender pas-de -deux´s done to Chopin, and with Kronos Quartet they gave us a hot jazz number that was so cool.The ¨arpeggio ¨piece was such fun- 8 counts and in came the boys-FREEZE;another arpeggio in another key and in came the girls-FREEZE.It was done just enough times to enjoy and not to bore.
The atmosphere they created with the lighting impressed me the first time I saw them and did again this time.
What a pity they only do ¨one-night-stands¨
