"A, El Musical" de Nacho Cano Teatro Haagen Dazs

The challenge I faced was how to write a "short and sweet" review about something I found to be the complete opposite. "A, El Musical" was many things to many people, as such and for the purposes of this review I will confine myself to just the dancing. And what dancing, there was a fascinating mix of hip hop (of course), jazz, African and flamenco dance. The performances were carried off with such earnestness that the audience was left swooning. The dancers, whatever one had to say about the show, were having the time of their lives. Sure many of the moves were straight out of the ´80s classics such as "Flashdance" and the costumes came directly from the set of "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" but a good time was had by all (by almost all). N.P.
