I have been to and participated in endless dancing studios end-of-year shows and when it´s a niece, daughter of a friend or one´s own pupils that are dancing, one tends to watch fondly and forgivingly.
But, when it´s the Ballet Nacional de Uruguay that one goes and sees, one is much more judgemental and less lenient. It would be a privilege to have pupils as enthusiastic as the young dancers of the B.N. de U. but I would change choreographers, costume and light designers, the music...
